TipsWork's Pascal's Wager

People that actually play games usually believe that Play Market is a hellhole full of so-called free to play games that actually cost you more than a good AAA game bought on Steam. Which in return leads to a very common misconception - that it is impossible to develop a decent game for Android and be bald to actually implement a different gameplay mechanic instead of the same old mobile games economy system based on micro transactions, pay to win in app purchases and never ending stream of ads.

I will not spoil this, just play the game

What about premium games, you might add. Yes, the only option remaining would be premium games - which is true apart from the fact that it is full of console and PC ports of old games. Of course if you never played The Bard's Tale, Grand Theft Auto III or let's say Titan Quest or Planescape Torment it's a good place to start, but what about new games, designed specifically for Android that are capable to compete with the actual mastodons of the industry

The game also has a little of that Lovecraft vibe, especially when you go lunatic

In fact Blaise Pascal perfectly summed this up with his beliefs in God and proposed a very pragmatic but optimal solution that it is better to believe in god than not to believe, because if at the end of the day it will turn out that he's real - you'll benefit from it. If you actually apply Pascal's philosophy to Play Market you'll notice that it is true - to hope that one day there will be a game that will put to shame some expensive titles, or being a disbeliever you risk to never even hear about the game, so be good and prepare yourself to be burned in the fiery pits of hell. I myself like to believe that Pascal's Wager the game is not just a game. It can be rightfully considered a statement providing hard evidence that it is very real to actually be a mobile game and be as enjoyable, multi-layered, complex as a console or PC product.

The local bonfires.

But, what exactly is Pascal's Wager? It's an action role playing game with quite promising setting. It is dark and surprisingly mature. It touches themes that are not mainstream at all and wrapps it all up in a fantasy world where everything decays and is about to end. It features fast-paced combat, challenging enemies, and a variety of playable characters with unique abilities. The game has been well received by players, critics and me, and it is available on Android devices as well as iOS and PC.

Description of the items play a huge role in uncovering the lore

I never thought I'd see the day when a game about a French philosopher would be so entertaining, but Pascal's Wager has proven me wrong! The combat is satisfying, the graphics are gorgeous, and the story is... well, honestly, I have no idea what the story is about. But who cares when you can whack monsters with a giant sword? The only downside is that I can't figure out how to make Pascal himself a playable character. I mean, come on, TipsWorks, where's the DLC for that? Overall, if you're looking for a game that combines philosophy, action, and lots of rolling around on the ground to avoid getting hit, Pascal's Wager is the game for you.

The whole game is just unbelievably beautiful

It's the game that'll make you ponder the meaning of life and the existence of God. Or, you know, you could just play it for the sick action and demon-slaying, that's cool too.

Enemies that shoot with light out of their head

In Pascal's Wager, you'll get to explore a dark and mysterious world filled with creepy creatures and spooky environments. But don't worry, you won't be alone on your journey - you'll have a team of badass heroes to help you out! From a grizzled knight to hobo with a shotgun and blind Visas from KOTOR, there's a character for every playstyle.

Map of the world. You travel through it in your carriage.

The combat in this game gives you plenty of combos and special moves to keep things interesting. And when you're not battling demons, you can explore the world and solve puzzles to uncover its secrets.

These the alternatives to Dark Souls' crystal slugs

But let's be real, the best part of Pascal's Wager is the fact that you get to fight giant monsters with a tiny sword. Seriously, this thing looks like it came out of a cereal box. And yet, somehow, it still manages to slay demons like nobody's business.

A kind of hub location where you can choose where to go next

This game can make you laugh, cry, and question your own existence. Attaboy. Now go and make your grandma proud for buying you an RTX 4090. You became a philosopher. Nietzsche sucks.
